Jupiter ZX Review: An Upgraded Jupiter From TVS

Jupiter ZX is a special edition of the popular TVS Jupiter scooter sold across India. The ZX was first launched in India on 2016. The Jupiter and its special edition ZX different in the cosmetic section, while the mechanical features remain the same. Design
The new design and appearance of the ZX showcases modern aesthetics and feel. TVS has retained most of the body design of its predecessor. A sleek and youthful body design is what makes the Jupiter different from other classes of scooters sold across the country.



The premium tail light, well built front apron and beautiful headlamps all combine to form a well-made scooter. TVS have not provided any graphics work on its body and its very simple and elegant look makes it suitable for both males and females.

A Premium Beigne panel
The new version of the ZX showcases a premium design and styling in the interior of the scooter.



The Beigne panel is designed to make the scooter look more premium and stylish.

Dura Cool Seat

A Dura Cool seat is provided in the scooter, this seat controls the temperature and cools it down making the rider comfortable to sit in hot temperatures. The Dura cool seat can cool down up to 10-degree Celsius and makes it comfortable to ride in sunlight more comfortable than other scooter seats.



3D Logo

A new stylish 3D logo of the Jupiter is engraved in the rear trunk of this scooter. TVS has given a chrome touch up to it making the design premium and stylish.



Engine
The Jupiter ZX is powered by a 109.70 cc 4 Stroke, Single cylinder, Air Cooled, OHC engine. This engine has a power of 7.8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 8 Nm torque @ 5500 rpm. This scooter uses Digital IDI with Ignition Map Technology and has Primary CVT & Secondary Gear Box transmission system. The 110cc engine of the Jupiter sits on a high Rigidity Underbone Type frame and holds a fuel tank capacity of 5.50 litres.

Braking and Suspension



The breaking of the Jupiter ZX is done with a 130 mm Drum Brake at both the front and the rear, while TVS is also offering a front Disc brake variants of the Jupiter ZX to customers. The suspension works are done with Advance Telescopic Suspension on the front while a Gas Charged Mono Shock is employed at the rear to form the suspension work of this scooter.

TVS has provided Alloy Wheels on this scooter along with tubeless tyres that come as stock on the front and rear for better stability on the road.
