Gusto 125 Scooter Review: A Much Needed Upgrade From Mahindra

The new Gusto 125 is a much-upgraded version of the Gusto first launched by Mahindra back in 2014. This all new scooter showcases more advanced features than its predecessor and also sports a new powerful engine along with various design changes.

Unlike most of the scooter clans that showcase a side kicker for starting the engine, Gusto stands different with an all new kick-start similar to that of a motorcycle, this kick starter is smartly designed so users can start it from the front itself with much ease while seated.

It uses a powerful 125cc M-TEC, 4-stroke engine, which is capable of delivering 8.5 bhp @ 7000 rpm and 10 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm.

The new engine provides much more versatile riding experience than its predecessor and provides good riding experience. The power and torque required to climb inclines and steep are carefully engineered into this scooter. Mahindra has done a good job at making the engine more refined and tuned, the engine is responsive in all rev range and provides healthy torque when needed without compromising mileage.

Large Tubeless Tyre
The Gusto comes with an extra-large 12 inches tyres, this is a much upgrade that almost all the clans of scooter sold across India, as they only come with a 10-inch stock tyre.

The Gusto has upgraded the suspension settings and the Gusto 125 comes with a Telescopic Suspension with Air Springs that has the ability to makes it easy to ride along rough terrain with much ease, Mahindra also made sure to design while providing precise handling control on riding.
