Design
The Gusto 125 underwent a serious paint job and new cosmetic changes, and it's one of the main highlights about the all new Gusto. Four new paint schemes along with new graphics add to the beauty of the new Gusto lineup and with the addition of curved and sharp edgy body features along with other trendy features give this scooter a much more premium look.
There is a chrome design touch seen in almost every part of this new scooter, and this touch up can be spotted on brake levers, handlebar end weights, engine cover strips and the silencer protection guards.
Adjustable Seat Height
The Gusto is the only scooter in India that comes with the option to adjust seat height according to the riders needs. This makes it ideal for any one in the family to ride the Gusto without much effort, the rider can set the seat height to a lower or higher position that suits them the best, for a comfortable and safe ride.
Guide Lamp
This scooter has a unique feature called Guide lamp, this lamp stays a few seconds longer even if the ignition is off, and this will, in turn, helps out the rider when he parks the scooter in dark places.
Quick Storage
The Gusto comes fitted with an innovative pocket-like storage facility just under the display panel. It's thoughtfully designed and as the name suggests, it's designed for quick and easy access
Bright Headlamp
One of the attractive features of the Gusto is the bright Halogen Headlamp unit with LED Lamps. The headlamp provides enough brightness to move through places at night and makes a distinct appeal in cities.
Spacious Under Seat Storage.
Like any modern scooter, the Gusto is also equipped with a large under-seat storage unit. A helmet, college books, and essential can be stored in this compartment safely. But one downside of the Gusto is that it does not contain a mobile USB charger unit, while most of the scooters in this price segment carries this feature.
Remote Flip Key
Remote Flip Key are features that can be seen on premium cars and other premium four-wheelers, but Mahindra has gone to provide this feature in the Gusto and hence comes on par with the tag provided to Gusto " A Scooter with Car like Features".
The Remote key can be a useful feature to spot your vehicle in a crowded parking lot as it has a Find me lamp which can be turned on by pressing a button on the flip key. Like the name says, the key of the Gusto flips open like a switchblade. It even comes with an LED panel that illuminates the keyhole at night.
Easy Front Kick
Unlike most of the scooter clans that showcase a side kicker for starting the engine, Gusto stands different with an all new kick-start similar to that of a motorcycle, this kick starter is smartly designed so users can start it from the front itself with much ease while seated.
Engine
It uses a powerful 125cc M-TEC, 4-stroke engine, which is capable of delivering 8.5 bhp @ 7000 rpm and 10 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm.
The new engine provides much more versatile riding experience than its predecessor and provides good riding experience. The power and torque required to climb inclines and steep are carefully engineered into this scooter. Mahindra has done a good job at making the engine more refined and tuned, the engine is responsive in all rev range and provides healthy torque when needed without compromising mileage.
Large Tubeless Tyre
The Gusto comes with an extra-large 12 inches tyres, this is a much upgrade that almost all the clans of scooter sold across India, as they only come with a 10-inch stock tyre.
A much bigger tree makes it easy to handle the scooter at high speeds and the chances of skidding will also be reduced deliver rock-solid stability at any speed. The inclusion of tubeless tyres also makes it much safer to ride.
Telescopic Suspension With Air Springs
The Gusto has upgraded the suspension settings and the Gusto 125 comes with a Telescopic Suspension with Air Springs that has the ability to makes it easy to ride along rough terrain with much ease, Mahindra also made sure to design while providing precise handling control on riding.
Colours
Gusto is available in two variants the DX and VX. Where VX is the premium version with cosmetic additions and paint jobs and is available in following colours - Orange Rush, Bolt White, Monarch Black and Regal Red
