What makes this edition special is its colour scheme called as the Stallion Brown colour combined with a beige tone to the inner panels. Added to this, it also wears a new sticker on the front apron, hinting at the special edition. But the highlight of this special edition, as the manufacturers claim it to be, is the new seat, which TVS has named as the 'Dura Cool' seat. As the name suggests, it has been designed to retain lesser heat, when compared to the normal seats. So, if the vehicle is left parked out in the sun, the heat content of the seat will be as much as ten degrees lower when compared to the normal seats. Rumours has it that the Dura Cool seat can be considered as an experimental introduction in this special edition prior to its full on addition to upcoming TVS scooters.
The modification made on the special edition of the TVS Jupiter is limited to the cosmetic front and no changes have been made to the scooter's powerplant.
This limited edition of the TVS Jupiter has been put on sale across all the TVS dealerships in India. It is put up for a price of Rs 48,925 (ex-showroom Delhi) which can be considered a Rs 2,000 premium over the standard offering of the Jupiter.
