Mahindra launches the all new Gusto non-gear bike in the 110cc segment of scooters in India. The Italian designed gearless vehicle has already made its mark in the two wheeler motorcycle segment. Expecting the highest sales record of the year, Mahindra is ready to face the rivalry of other 110cc bikes in the non-gear segment with the Gusto which is packed with innovation and comfort. Amazingly futuristic concept that are pre loaded in this vehicle makes it an out of the box design and concept scooter of the year.
Design and Styling
Gusto looks much like the other scooters in the segment, but gets added on design features such as the front mud guard looks pretty sharp edged than that of other models. Front pannel consists of a combination of two or more design elements. A thin chrome plate on the front portion with the 3D logo of Mahindra. Along with the two sides of the chrome plate, a dual LED indicator is placed. Turn indicators come with a bold black rubber mesh which appears like an outline for the lights. A pair of silver side vents in the front pannel adds on to the new stylish looks of the scooter.
The eye catching metallic side vents looks good in all the colour variants in which the scooter is available. Under the head light is a typographic logo of the "mahindra". Head lights feature a dual lighting system. Combined with a three unit LED side lights in both the ends of the lamp along with the main head light. Edgy design elements and styling adds on to the aerodynamicity of the vehicle as well. The foot panel comes in a typical grey shade with rubber and plastic combination of materials. Adjustable passenger seat is the major innovation brought up by the company for the Gusto. The passenger seat is a full stratched seat with a little higher leveled rear passenger portion. Gusto claims to be the first ever scooter with an adjustable rider seat according to the riders wish. The seat can be raised up or brought down easily. Towards the end, the rear portion is designed in a "less than arrow bracket" shape. The tail lights, side indicators and reflectors are moulded in one frame. Tail lights also include the mahindra typographic logo placed in the middle of the frame.
